Young fashion buyers are steering towards muted tones or neutrals for festive buying. Minimal pieces in versatile, pairable colours are in demand for the oncoming wedding season. Shilpi Yadav’s conscious fashion label Khara Kapas came up with its festive line a few days ago. The Haseen collection offers a series of easy-wear pieces in cotton variants like mulmul and kota doria and an assortment of polished neutrals like cobalt, sage green, light magenta that have been accentuated with subtle gold embroideries.

The chic Paasbaan saree is an onion pink kota doria number that comes with a deep V-neck cotton mulmul blouse featuring gold lace. It’s breathy, light and ideal for daywear. It can also be paired with a wide selection of jewellery from petite polki pieces to ornate silver numbers or even bohemian bling.
