Who doesn’t want to dress like Carrie Bradshaw? Now that she’s such a pro at desi dressing, maybe she can influence your next lehenga too. The fashion icon recently sported an eclectic Falguni and Shane Peacock lehenga at the Sex and the City Reboot on HBO Max, titled And Just Like That. The intricately embroidered lehenga is from the designer duo’s Mon Amour Jag Niwas collection, which is a bridal couture line. Carrie wears the blue and maroon lehenga for a friend’s Diwali do in New York and while some might call her over-dressed, we call it fabulous!
The distinct lehenga features elaborate silk thread embroidery and foliage motifs. The cropped, full-sleeved corset blouse is contemporary with a daring winged panel and a dramatic, neckline. “And just like that.. We became a part of a show that I binge-watched in my tweens, quoted all the dialogues from (especially, Carrie’s) and discussed endlessly with all my girl pals.
