Under the leadership of philanthropist Asha Patil, Banjara Kasuti, a non-profit organisation, has set out on a commendable mission to empower Lambani women, who are the guardians of Banjara embroidery, by providing them with dignified employment opportunities.
To take this mission further, the Banjara Kasuti has come up with a new collection called Lambani Looms which defines the Lambani heritage. Each handcrafted piece, ranging from waistcoats and jackets to kurtas, bags, and accessories, exudes a blend of tradition and contemporary flair. What we liked most from the collection is this orange top made pretty with Kasuti embroidery. Not only does it make for a cool casual top but can also be worn as an inner with any formal attire.
