The much-anticipated horror-comedy, Studio 666, written by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, starring himself and the Foo Fighters, was finally released earlier this year. Directed by B.J. McDonnell, and co-starring Whitney Cummings, Jenna Ortega and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Jeff Garlin, the film follows the fictional story of the Foo Fighters’ attempt to record their tenth studio album, Medicine at Midnight.
The fictional rockumentary goes awry when the band finds itself grappling with supernatural forces. Though the film got a US release in February, it did not release in India. But now you can rent this hilarious film on Amazon Prime’s rental platform, at just Rs 99. The newly launched Prime Video Store offers a transaction-video-on-demand (TVoD) service that lets subscribers and non-subscribers rent movies.
