For its newest vlog, Foodka explored small food businesses across Kolkata that survived the pandemic. The series which is currently on its 13th season is famed for featuring lesser-known Kolkata eateries and neighbourhood hideaways which serve authentic delicacies.

The newest episode sees hosts Mir and Indrajit Lahiri sample some great Bengali dishes at two Kolkata joints which serve food at economical rates. Foodka’s first stop was Nandy Hotel, near Alipore Police Court where you can find pocket-friendly Bengali thalis. Foodka also explored Samar Da’r Biryani, near Kalighat, whose proprietor has been selling biryani for 22 years!
