Aparna Sen and Nandita Das were awarded the Icon Award at this year’s London Indian Film Festival, which was held across London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. Sen’s latest film The Rapist premiered during the festival and received great reviews. Nandita joined Sen and actor Konkona Sen Sharma for a conversation as part of LIFF 2022. “I have seen LIFF grow from strength to strength and I am touched by their appreciation of my choices and my work. It means a lot to me,” said Nandita. Konkona and Nandita also took a selfie which Konkona shared as part of her LIFF photo dump.
