There’s a Barbie and a Ken in all of us! With Barbiecore and Barbie fever taking over the world, it’s little surprise that there’s a new Barbie-inspired nugget right around the corner every day. And we’re here for the pink! From celebs embracing their best rosy garbs, to artists reimagining popular faces in the Barbie-verse, the creativity is shining bright. After Bollywood hunks, and Bengali cinema legends, it’s time for Tamil superstars to show off their best Ken avatar.
London based photographer and digital artist Jathursan Pirabakaran (@jayprints on Instagram) has reimagined leading actors as Ken. Clad in their most stylish and suave pink outfits, Pirabakaran has given actors Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Suriya, Dhanush and others a Ken personality befitting them. While Hassan and Ajith Kumar are the suave ones, Rajnikanth is his street-smart best. Dhanush stars as the smitten Ken, Vijay is every bit a chocolate boy and STR has Romeo (from the musical) vibes.
