Nadeleine, which means ‘a ray of hope’ in French, is a non-profit that sells handmade jewellery to raise funds for the underprivileged. Every month, profits are used to feed the poor living on the streets of Kolkata.
Set up by Mikhaila Gomes, 19, Nadeleine hand crafts their ware and has an eye-catching hoop collection, a potpourri of elongated danglers and an elegant selection of necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. Every piece can be customised to suit your taste. All raw materials used are sourced ethically, making it all the more enticing. Watch out for their cultured pearl and stone-chip collections — all manufactured from recycled materials — launching at their pop-up on October 2 and 3.
Prices are extremely affordable, ranging between Rs.30 and Rs.150. To place an order, DM Nadeleine’s Instagram page.
