Pahadi Local’s source-to-bottle policy is an attempt at preserving the purity of ingredients that are sourced from the Himalayas. All their products are non-formulated and free of chemicals. The label has a series of cold-pressed mountain oils made with apricot kernels, ‘kagzi’ almonds, peach kernels and walnuts that work well on skin and hair. The apricot kernel oil is extracted from the orchards in Himachal Pradesh and made with the Himalayan apricot kernel. Locally known as ‘Gutti Ka Tel’, the oil is cold-pressed with the help of age-old techniques and is a multi-purpose oil. 

It is deeply nourishing for the skin and also has anti-ageing properties. It can be used as a moisturiser for the face and body, a scalp nourishing agent and can also alleviate aches and pains. Apricot kernel oil also helps your skin get winter-ready since it can rescue dry skin from harsh climates.
