More Spooky Stories (published by HarperCollins) is the latest collaborative work of Tanushree Podder and Ajay Podder, a book that promises to be spookier, more creepy and more sinister than its prequel, the bestselling Spooky Stories.
The plot hinges around Uday Sengupta’s return to his uncle’s sprawling house in Bastar, where he encounters his uncle and old friends. In a jovial mood, the group starts narrating supernatural experiences one by one when Uday joins them. What follows is guaranteed to tingle your spine and more!
A versatile writer who has explored multiple genres, from historical fiction to crime to the paranormal, Tanushree has previous experience of working in the corporate sector and enjoys travelling. A retired army officer, Ajoy is a qualified mountaineer, a passionate photographer and the co-author of three books with Tanushree, including Decoding the Feronia Files, India’s first cli-fi thriller. Joining them for More Spooky Stories is illustrator Sucharita Sengupta Suri, known for her artistic portrayal of nature, fables and fairytales, often through what she calls “whimsical paintings”.
