Wondering what to do this weekend? Visit the Baptist Missionary Society for Calcutta to celebrate the ‘Colours of Christmas’ — a two-day event that’ll usher in the festive season through song and dance. “This year, we’re having cultural dance performances from four different states so we can explore how the different states in India celebrate Christmas,” says Dayanidhi Rao, one of the core organisers. ‘Colours of Christmas’ will also see choir performances by teens and tweens, a men’s quartet and the Calcutta Christmas Choir, all getting into the colourful spirit of Christmas. And if you’re the youngest or the oldest in the audience, there’s a neat gift hamper in store!

Passes are available at the venue.

Where: 44, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road

When: December 16 and 17
