A merry, musical affair at Allen park

Christmas may be over but Park Street is still flooded with lights to usher in the new year. If you’re looking for some downtime with friends, head to Allen Park for an evening of easy listening as the Kolkata Police Band performs live music on stage, 5 pm onwards. There are plenty of snack counters with kebabs and savouries and even some festive bakes from beloved brands. Wile away the evening with classic melodies and bask in the festive spirit. It’s also pretty easy to socially distance in the open ground and stalls are quite far apart.
On December 28 too, you’ll find an impressive line of performers, from indie band Whale in the Pond to mouth-organist Babita Basu. The festivities continue till December 30 while the dazzling array of festive lights will remain till January 10.
