‘Get set, Pujo!’ as Kolkata Runners organises a special run

Sashthi will see hundreds of runners in Salt Lake, all decked up in ethnic attire

Kolkata Runners, a popular platform for running enthusiasts in the city and managed by a few runners from Kolkata, is organising a special Durga Puja run, with My Kolkata as digital media partner, on Sashthi, to mark the arrival of Ma Durga.

Around 200 runners across age groups, dressed up in the traditional puja attire of red and white, will participate in the second edition of this run at Salt Lake on Saturday morning. Scheduled for an early start, this run will be all about embracing the puja spirit with fun and fitness and welcoming Maa Durga the runners’ way. The event will be followed by engagements among the participants, networking and interaction opportunities as well as breakfast.
