Discover Kolkata like never before through a newly launched light and sound show at Victoria Memorial Hall. The show developed with the use of 3D projection mapping is titled ‘Kolkata — The City of Joy’. Launched on May 9 by Home Minister Amit Shah on the occasion of Rabindra Jayanti, the show focuses on the past and present of Kolkata weaving in the culture and information through an entertaining manner, especially for the youth. The show can be watched in three different languages — English, Hindi and Bengali — except Mondays and designated public holidays. Tickets for the same have to be purchased separately and entry is only via the East Gate of the venue.
