Start the new year on a conscious note with the curated Farm to Table Sunday hosted by Bagan Farms. This venue is a 90-minute drive from the city and not only can you spend the day amidst nature but also experience a hearty, course-based meal. Most of the ingredients are sourced directly from the farm, which is managed by Zareen Ali Desai and her husband, Varun. The roast chicken from the menu is the show-stopper; the original recipe was devised by Varun’s 87-year-old grandmother. The roast features some nostalgic flavours and is served with a side of parsley rice. Also, expect some great desserts like strawberry truffle cake and Zee’s homemade pudding.
