Visit Agomoni to explore traditional weaves

The Crafts Council of West Bengal is all set to host Agomoni, between September 2 and 4, at Kanoria Hall on Southern Avenue. If you still haven’t started your Puja shopping you can explore more than 25 brands like Moh, Kaporr, Vriksh- Gunjan Jain and more, which will display the talent and works of Bengali craftsmen at the venue. 

Popular actor Koel Mullick will inaugurate the event followed by a presentation on indigo dyes by Amrita Mukherjee from Sutra. September 3 will have a panel discussion among musician Bickram Ghosh, artist and designer Swarup Dutta, designer Bashobi Tewari and writer and activist Karuna Ezara Parikh. 

On September 4 author Kunal Basu will present his encounters with Bengal crafts and artisans.
