Have some time this weekend? Drop in at Rang Saga, an annual fundraising event that celebrates body positivity, diversity and inclusion by offering art showcases and fun activities. The event, which is set to be held at the Princeton Club on May 28, is being hosted by Rangeen Khidki, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that spreads awareness about menstrual education, comprehensive gender and sexuality education, mental health and education and life skills.
The day-long event will feature art exhibits by artists such as Avanish Trivedi, Avi Roy, Debajyoti Roy, Ramkumar Manna, Sharmila Paul, Shashi Bharti, and Bondhu Collective. Special guest Swastika Mukherjee will share her personal experiences and perspective on body positivity at a panel discussion alongside guests like Indroneel Mukherjee, Pushpak Sen, Anwesa Chakraborty. The event will also feature stand-up comedy by Amrita Chanda and Supaarwoman AKA Supriya Joshi and musical performances by singer-songwriter Mali and popular contemporary Bangla band, Somlata And The Aces.
