Songs of the Soil, a retrospective exhibition, will be open to the public from December 6 to 10
Don Bosco School, Park Circus, and the ICYM of the Church of Christ the King have joined hands to put up a Christmas-special performance for Kolkatans. Titled ‘And Joseph said “Yes!”’, the play will take the audience on a magical journey, exploring the Nativity of Jesus Christ and how Joseph stepped into the role of a father for baby Jesus.
The best part about the event? The performance will raise funds for underprivileged children and aid them in their educational journeys. It’s the season of compassion and giving, and the play sure is in sync with the spirit.
Teresa D’costa, joint-secretary, ICYM-CKC, said, “The play is about Nativity and how Joseph accepted child Jesus. The motive behind this play was to raise funds for underprivileged children and help them in their education. There will be Christmas carols too. We have arranged for some pre-Christmas celebration while putting up an endeavour that helps those in need.”

When: December 17
Timing: 6pm onwards (Audience to be seated by 5.45pm; seating on a first-come, first-served basis)
