2/4 Schoolchildren take part in a rally at Shyambazar on Thursday to spread awareness to combat dengue. Meanwhile, a 56-year-old woman from Tollygunge’s Paschim Putiary died of dengue at a city hospital early on Sunday, the fourth known dengue death in the city in the past week. The Indian Immunologicals Limited, a leading vaccine manufacturer in India, has received approval for the Phase-1 clinical trial of the dengue vaccine Dengvaxia. This vaccine is being developed in alliance with the US-based National Institute of Health.
