Meraki Cheese

If you love a good cheese grazing board, you need to explore Arpita Nag’s label Meraki Cheese. Nag is an artisanal cheesemaker from Kolkata who creates delicious grazing boards ideal for a wine-and-cheese party.

“We have a mezze-inspired platter, it lines up fresh Mediterranean flavours with olives, rose petals, cranberry and a great hummus-style goat cheese dip. It also has freshly baked bread made by us,” Nag shares.

Nag makes non-synthetic cheeses that are free of emulsifiers. From pickled feta to halloumi (semi-hard brined cheese) and even excellent matured gouda, all variants are meticulously aged by the cheesemaker in her studio.

“We have grazing boxes where there are four types of cheeses — a pickled feta, a goat cheese along with aged cheese and a flavoured aged cheese. This box is great for four people to share,” she tells us.
