The walls of the eatery are a colourful canvas presenting elements of east and south-east Asian food and culture in fun pop art murals like this Maneki Neko (inspired by the popular Japanese figurine) gorging on a box of noodles with shrimps, octopus, cherry blossoms and Chinese lanterns surrounding it. The mural on the adjacent wall, on the other hand, captures the heritage of Calcutta with a yellow tram at its centre. These make sure to represent the multifaceted essence of the restaurant.

“We wanted to provide a happy and fun place for families and friend groups to come and enjoy an Oriental fare. Chinese is definitely one of the most loved cuisines in Calcutta and so, it was a no-brainer to proceed with it. We consciously decided to represent the ambience with a balance of pop colours and pastel shades and not go the traditional way with doing up the interiors. The menu too, has been carefully curated keeping in mind the popularity and demand for certain dishes, however, we didn’t shy away from adding more innovative dishes which we are confident, will be accepted and loved by the foodies,” said Mohid Ul Hussain (right) and Asif Iqbal, partners, The Moonshot Hospitality
