Raasta, the pub on Park Street, brings a colourful catalogue of Long Island Iced Teas with quite literally a cocktail of twist, tang and tastes for their ‘LIIT Month’. There is hardly anything more satisfyingly refreshing than a LIIT, but it is all the more fun in its deviant playfulness. Fusing together flavours, Raatsa promises a unique experience outside the classic good old LIIT. The Telegraph was there to check them out.

1) Blue Frog: A fun concoction of vodka, white rum, gin, tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice topped with red bull
2) Sassy Sangria: With a choice between red or white wine, the classy cocktail comes with brandy, vodka, triple sec, peach-passion fruit cordial, fruits and lime juice
3) Cuban Ice Tea: An playful mix of vodka, white rum, gin, red wine, sweet and sour, and topped with Sprite
4) Berries Blast: A smooth concoction of vodka, white rum, gin, tequila, crushed berries with a choice and lime juice topped with rose petals
5) Dominica Ice Tea: A refreshing and tangy mix of vodka, white rum, gin, tequila, lime juice, aam panna and topped wih lemonade, lined with chilli flakes and salt
6) Sundowner Ice Tea: A neat mix of vodka, white rum, gin, tequila, orange juice, topped with lemonade and fresh red cherries
7) Bourbon Tea: An American classic with Jim Beam White whisky, honey, vodka, cinnamon, rum, sweet and sour, and topped with cola
8) Bohemian Blast: A mild daytime refresher with vodka, gin, sambuca, cucumber syrup and lime juice
9) Havana Ice Tea: A delightful cocktail fusing vodka, white rum, gin, tequila, blue curacao, litchi juice and topped with lemonade and orange zest
10) Jamaican Jazz: Caribbean in a glass, white rum is mixed with dark rum, coconut-infused rum and pineapple juice, topped with rosemary and lemon
“This is the first time we are having a festival month of this sort in the city. We are serving more than 10 varieties of LIIT, which is not very common. With nice reception, the LIIT Month is to continue through September,” said Praveen Jaiswal, owner, Raasta Kolkata.
