The rise of cloud kitchens may have been a pandemic phenomenon, but it has continued to grow, and, despite the F&B sector booming back to full glory, continues to be popular. Adding to the cloud kitchen map is The Garage Kitchen (TGK), formed by Rajvardhan Singh, Siddhartha Sharma and Dennis Das who have stuck to all-time favourites like Indian, Asian and tandoori items.

“We found paucity in the versatility of the Indian, Asian and tandoor cuisines in the city. TGK aims to reach to each one of those, who have a penchant to relish exotic dishes without being heavy on their pockets. We have chefs trained from five-star properties and a few have come from the Middle Eastern countries too so that Calcutta can enjoy global cuisine from the snugness of their couches,” said directors Rajvardhan, Siddhartha and Dennis.

The Garage Kitchen scores on comfort food and flavours which the brand emphasizes is a result of using “the finest and the freshest of ingredients”. The result is robust flavours. The menu offers a plethora of dishes that one would want to binge on. Think soups and salads, appetisers, meal in a bowl to highlights like Chicken Wings Of Fire, Fish Red Pepper, Shabnami Mushroom, Java’s Babycorn Broccoli and Water Chestnut with Sambal Olek, Mutton

Tandoori Fish, made with basa, that is marinated with curd, and spices and cooked in a tandoor, has the kick of chillies that goes well with the texture of the fish.

Succulent, spicy and juicy sums up Murgh Tangri Kebabs that are chargrilled in a tandoor that leaves a lingering smoky aroma. A portion has four pieces.

The Chicken Schewan Noodles are spicy, loaded with chicken chunks, and vegetables and so addictive. You can pair it with a side dish.

Who doesn’t love aloo? Bite into Bharwan Shahi Aloo which has these jumbo potatoes filled with delicious stuffing with chopped nuts, cottage cheese, vegetables and Indian spices.
