“The Kolkata culture is so rich and we got space in this heritage property restored by Aditya Poddar. So we thought of opening a rooftop lounge keeping intact the vintage look and feel of the place. The place was built in 1910 and we have opened a rooftop bar, so we are calling it Air 1910. The interiors have been done by Aditya Poddar. His entire concept was to do a vintage-looking space. The place is for people of every age group. We have a quieter ambience in the outdoor sitting area and the indoor will have the club ambience with music and DJ night. Our food menu caters to a wide range of palate and our signature on the menu is the sous vide cocktails, which are botanical and herb-infused cocktails,” said Anirudh Poddar (right) and Aditya Ladsaria, co-owners and founders, Air 1910.

The 250-seater bar and lounge is divided into two sections, indoor and outdoor, adorned with vintage-style furniture, decor elements and lighting.

The outdoor sitting area with a 120-seater arrangement is decorated with plants, vintage-style furniture and table lamps. It is ideal for enjoying a relaxed summer or winter evening with friends and family.

The indoor area has a private party area that can accommodate around 40 to 50 people and the bar area, 80 to 90 seaters. It is decorated with mirrors, hanging lamps and floral-printed furniture that add to the decor theme of the place.
