 ‘Our teams are working in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and locally we at present expect around 8,000 students to get visas for higher education. Furthermore, I can assure across Mission India students have the liberty to apply from anywhere. In the end, it all boils down to how many appointments we make and we look forward to having many more such sessions in the months of June, July and August as well,’ added US consul-general Melinda Pavek

 Jamaima Kanga, a student who attended the session, got her visa approved. ‘I want to pursue my undergraduate studies in the United States. I attended this session as I wanted to know more about what it is like to study in the United States. I passed out of school this year and I aim to study business administration in the US soon,’ she said
