Hundreds of green-maroon fans turned up at the club’s premises on Monday. On Sunday, Kolkata airport was abuzz with celebrations as the team returned home from Goa, where the final was played. Soon after the win, the franchise's owner Sanjeev Goenka announced that the ATK Mohun Bagan (ATK MB) will be rechristened as Mohun Bagan Super Giants from the next season. Mohun Bagan entered the ISL as ATK Mohun Bagan after a merger with ATK in the 2020-21 season
