Jamshedpur, Jan. 31: Management aspirants today had a tough time accessing the Internet while checking the XLRI Aptitude Test (XAT) results, which were declared late last evening.
Right from the morning students thronged cyber caf?s to see what fortune had in store for them, but were disappointed as the official website remained crammed for long.
?Students were really disappointed as most of them were unable to access the Net,? said Puja, a faculty with the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), one of the management coaching centres in the city.
?Not only was the website clogged, but most students were not even aware of the results being declared today, maybe that is a reason why we are yet to get the exact figure of success,? said a senior faculty member at Career Launcher, another coaching centre in Bistupur.
This year, about 4,000 students from the steel city appeared for the XAT examinations, which was held on January 9. Moreover, XAT has changed its format from this year to be on a par with common admission test for Indian Institute of Management.
