Jamshedpur, Aug. 31: The RVS College of Engineering and Technology has received the nod from Ranchi Univer-sity to start a master degree course in computer application (MCA) from the next session.

In view of this increase in the capacity, we have also planned to add better infrastructure. From this academic session onwards, the total number of seats would increase to 360 from 240,” said a college official.

In order to meet the requirements of an increased number of students the institute would also add new facilities on its campus.

Moreover, work is on to provide Wi-Fi facility on the campus. “Work to provide Wi-Fi facility is on at a war-footing. This facility would be available at the campus by January 2009, making us the lone private engineering college in this city that comes equipped with this facility,” Singh said.
