Ranchi: Ever wondered about the uncanny similarity between the hiss of sizzler and patter of rain.
To make monsoon evenings all the more memorable, Hotel Capitol Hill on MG Road in Ranchi will dish out a nine-day sizzler food festival titled Char Grilled Sizzlers from Saturday.
Executive chef Mrinal Bakshi said the guests could avail the delicacies for both lunch and dinner at the hotel's Yellow Sapphire restaurant.
The main course will include items like Steamed Prawn Milano, Nawabi Pomfret, Moroccan Lamb Chop, Galawati Kebab, Capitol Mix Grill, Cottage Cheese Panorama, Corn Steak Milano, Chatpattey Coconut Kebab and Sizzling Chocolate Mudpie.
All items will be served on à la carte basis and have been priced between Rs 160 and Rs 850.
"All sizzlers will be served with the customary breads and salads. I am sure customers will relish the taste of the dishes," said chef Bakshi.
Talking about particular dishes, Bakshi said fish lovers could try out Steamed Prawn Milano and Nawabi Pomfret. "People who relish kebabs should definitely not miss out the Galawati Kebab and Chatpattey Coconut Kebab. For the sweet tooth there's Sizzling Chocolate Mudpie," he added.
Assistant operations manager of the hotel Satish Chandra Mishra said monsoon was the perfect time to hold sizzler festival. "We keep organising food festivals at regular intervals. This time we have made sincere efforts to give a twist to each item," added Mishra.
Food lovers across the capital are equally excited. "I often visit the restaurant with my family. I am looking forward to try out the sizzlers," said businessman Ashoke Singh.
