Ranchi, June 29: Saratchandra Chattopadhaya?s original classic- now a major film, Parineeta, which has managed to capture the imagination of generations of readers is now available on the stands of the leading book stores of the state capital. Translated by Malabika Choudhary, the book is published by Penguin India. For the bookworms of Ranchi who want to browse through the latest classics published by Penguin India, the opportunity comes in the form of the second anniversary celebrations of Book Zone, one of the leading book houses of the city from July 1.

A vast range of books from this publication would be on display during the month-long exhibition. The bookstore has announced a special ten percent discount on all the classics of Penguin India.

Likewise the sixth edition of Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due to release worldwide on July 16. Anyone can book a copy during the anniversary in Ranchi.

Vinod Poddar, owner of Book Zone, said last year the book store had organised Oxford month wherein an exhibition of schoolbooks was held. ?As part of the anniversary celebration we are focussing on the classics written by great writers. Many of the customers are ignorant about the availability of such books. Hence with the help of the month-long exhibition we are going to provide all types of books published by Penguin India.

During the exhibition readers can choose from classics, thrillers, non fictions to the latest books to make it to the list of best-sellers.
