The primary reason behind the EQ and IQ balance is to help students get an over-all perspective of the world. And to assist their growth as confident citizens undaunted by future challenges. But inner strength, as the authorities believe, is linked to the strength of the soul. And its peace is developed by prayers and thought of god. Special care has been taken while designing the classrooms meant for kindergarten students. The walls of the classrooms are covered with attractive colours and pictures to make learning seem exciting and interesting.
lThe school exposes a child to a world beyond mere texts. A world that?s filled with activities such as reading, sketching, painting writing, cartooning and gardening. Besides, up to the primary-level, the child?s inclination to various extra-activities is gauged. The school, later motivates the students to pursue the particular field of interest as a hobby. This school firmly believes in supporting and guiding a child if he wants to graduate his interest into a profession. And regular speech news reading classes are conducted so that the child is able to break his or her stage fright.
lThe school provides facilities for learning computer from the initial stage under the guidance of experts. It would soon introduce on-line computerised system for evaluation of students? performance, based on a mental, emotional and physical; scale.
Teachers and parents are jointly held responsible for the well-being of the child. The information about the child?s progress is thereby, jointly evaluated by the parents and teachers. There are regular meetings between the two to facilitate talks on their progress.
lThe school firmly believes in physical fitness. A healthy body begets a healthy mind. As a result, facilities for games like cricket, basketball, table tennis and athletics are provided by the school for budding sports stars and for the lazy students. Besides special coaching in yoga and karate are also arranged. Basketball, badminton, volleyball are provided in the campus while cricket, football and other sports are held in the annexed Jharkhand State Electricity Board playground.
lThe school lays emphasis on extracurricular activities like painting, music, art and craft, debate, elocution, quiz. Projects are also given to students as part of their formal education. In the long run the trust also proposes to provide libraries, reading rooms, hospitals, primary health and fitness centres for both students and teachers.
lThe school students have participated in the National Science and Cyber Olympiad and various inter-school quizzes. Recently, students participated in the national-level Karate Championship, which was held in Chennai and managed to bag several prizes.
lThe motto of the school is to inculcate rich cultural values. Hence different houses of the school are named after the four Vedas ?Rwik, Sam, Yajur and Atharva. The school stresses on social values.
