Ranchi, Jan.21: The Jharkhand Autochalak Mahasangh today submitted a list of routes and the number of diesel- fuelled autos to the commissioner’s office.
The Mahasangh also demanded that all autos be given the required permits.
The list included 10 routes within the 16km periphery of Ranchi Municipal Corporation area where the union proposed to ply 3,900 diesel-fuelled autos. The 16km periphery outside RMC will have 2,100 autos plying on 14 routes.
The routes within the RMC area include Dhurwa to Kutchery, Hatia to Kutchery, Namkum to Kutchery, Rampur to Kutchery, Tatisilwai to Kutchery, Bariatu to Kutchery, Kanke to Nagababa Khatal, Ratu to New Market auto stand, Nagri to New Market auto stand and Harmu bypass to Ratu Road.
The 14 routes outside RMC include ITI to Ranchi Station, Booty More to Kanta Toli-Tatisilwai, Birsa Chowk to Nagri, Birsa chowk to Lodhma, Doranda to Namkum, Argora to Nagri via Kathal More, Birsa Chowk to Dasmile via Tupudana, Pithoria to Kanke, Bero to ITI, ITI to Nagri, Ormanjhi to Booty More, Ranchi Railway Station to desired destination, Hatia station to desired destination and Namkum to Tupudana.
Mahasangh president Dinesh Soni said: “We have provided routes with the number of autos to be plied on it. Now it is the duty of district administration to provide us with valid permits.”
