Meditrina eyes expansion

Meditrina Hospitals, which runs a 60-bed facility at Adityapur in Seraikela-Kharsawan, opened a cardiac operation theatre on its premises on Wednesday.

Jamshedpur: Meditrina Hospitals, which runs a 60-bed facility at Adityapur in Seraikela-Kharsawan, opened a cardiac operation theatre on its premises on Wednesday.

A.B. Lall, head (manufacturing), commercial vehicle business unit of Tata Motors, inaugurated the theatre online during a function at Hotel Ramada in Bistupur.

Meditrina Hospitals' CMD Dr. Prathap Kumar said the new operation theatre would be used for open-heart surgeries, valve surgeries and valve repairs. he added that the Adityapur-based hospital will expand its dialysis facilities.

Cluster head of Meditrina Hospitals, Amitav Chatterjee, said four new centres would come up in Ambala, Panchkula, Faridabad and Gurgaon on Public Private Partnership mode by the end of this year.
