Ranchi, June 13: Longing to eat typical South Indian, Bengali or North Indian dishes? Then head to the Capitol Residency, where the Jewels of India Food Festival started from today.
Here, at the fest sponsored by The Telegraph, you can tickle your taste buds with appam, ishtew, usal pav, shukto, malai chingri, tangri kebab, tandoori chicken and many more delicacies.
Food and beverage manager of the hotel G.Y. Narayan Rao said: “Be it sambar or reshmi kebab, we have prepared every item not as they are prepared in hotels but as mothers prepare at our home.”
To give a feel of Indian family gathering marigolds, rajanigandha and mango leaves will be used to decorate the hotel instead of rich embellishments.
Prakash Agarwal, who came with his family, said: “After a long time I got the taste of typical Rajasthani gatte ki sabzi.”
The festival will continue till June 22 from 7.30pm to 11.30pm everyday.
