Ranchi, Nov. 5: The Foundation Day celebration would start with a “Run for Jharkhand” early on the morning of November 15.

Apart from chief minister Madhu Koda and human resource development minister Bandhu Tirkey, several other members of the state cabinet are likely to join the event.

Koda would take the guard of honour from the officers and jawans of the state police in a parade at JAP grounds. Brave police personnel would be given gallantry awards at the function.

Meanwhile, Ranchi deputy commissioner Avinash Kumar on Monday held a meeting with district officials to discuss all aspects of the Foundation Day programmes. He said: “The main programme would be held at Morabadi grounds from 2pm to 6pm.”

The Ranchi branch of Reserve Bank of India would be inaugurated by Koda in the Ranchi Regional Development Authority building at 11am.
