Ranchi, Jan. 24: The city?s airwaves are about to get better, especially for mass communication graduates.
The Frequency Modulation (FM) revolution in the city is expected to bring with it employment opportunities in radio broadcasting.
According to K.K. Goenka, vice-president of Neutral Publications, opportunities for employment would increase manifold.
?We would look out for qualified professionals who have work experience as radio jockeys. Freshers, too, can apply but they need to have training and other necessary qualifications like good voice and modulation,? said Goenka, who has the goal of making it to the number one FM channel of the state.
There are more than 300 new FM channels on the pipeline and the employment opportunities would be lucrative, as there is going to be a huge demand for such professionals.
