Jamshedpur, Nov. 25: Moving away from the conventional “Just-a-Minute”, it was debating for half the time at “Half-a-Minute” for participants from seven different schools at the Rotary Youth Leadership Association camp.
Being conducted for the first time by Kerala Samajam Model School, the second day of the inter-school event witnessed some sparkling creativity by the bunch of enthusiastic students.
An annual event of Interact Club, the school auditorium buzzed with festive fervour. The teams who were given a free hand in opting for particular events reaped maximum advantage.
Rajendra Vidyalaya registered as participants only in the quiz round while the documentary film presentation saw entries from just two schools, including the hosts.
Both the short films presented by Kerala Samajam Model and Motilal Nehru Public schools dealt with the subject of child labour.
Teams were marked on their originality of ideas and adherence to the theme alongside their appropriate takes on the subject.
