Jamshedpur, March 19: P. Mitra emerged champion, while Telcon managing director Ranaveer Sinha finished runner-up of the Tata Motors golf tournament, which concluded here today.
The former came out with a net score of 65, while the latter secured 68. Navtez Singh had the best gross in the proceedings, which saw a record participation of 275 golfers.
Rashi Tiwari pocketed the title in the ladies? category, edging out Kanchan Khukllar, while Indu Bhambri came out with the best gross.
In children?s category, R. Aditya bagged the honours with a net score of 39, while Varun Jaiswal finished runner-up.
S.M. Khurana, the former senior general manager of Tata Motors, was judged the best outstation golfer, while Ranjot Singh enjoyed the longest drive at 283 yards.
The tournament, which kicked off on Saturday, was held in the 18-hole stroke play form at Golmuri and Beldih golf courses.
