Jamshedpur, June 8: What will football fans eat during the World Cup? The city?s restaurants have put in much thought into this and come up with some creative menus that include items like Ronaldinho?s Tackle to the more desi Ronaldo palak corn.

The matches kick off in Germany tomorrow and hotels across the city have made elaborate plans.

Some have christened dishes to suit the football frenzy, while others have decided to serve World Cup special dishes on orders.

Hotel Regent has decided to wait until the first round of matches are over. ?That?s when everyone really gets into the soccer mood,? said Swaroop Chakravarty, deputy general manager at Hotel Regent.

Fans will get to sample Italian cuisine, which includes the Italian Entry, a zesty mix of olives, tomatoes and cheese spread over garlic bread. A mango festival ?Aam ka Zaika? featuring a cocktails, mocktails and desert, will run parallel to the food event.

The buffet at Hotel Ganga International starts tomorrow with a menu that any football lover would be proud of.

Speaking about the inspiration behind concocting the dishes, James Bernand, food and beverages manager at Hotel Ganga International, said they had been named keeping a player?s temperament in mind: ?Karlo mutton seekh kebab has been drawn up keeping the player?s hot shots in mind while a Crespo chicken crispy and a Kahn butter naan are in sync.?

Hill View Hotel and Resort will be offering Bengali cuisine. They have not drawn up their final list but are hopeful of a positive response.

?Football is the favourite game of Bengalis, so we decided to include it in our offer,? said the hotel?s manager, Avinash Kumar.
