Ranchi, Oct. 14: Chief minister Raghubar Das today directed principal secretary of state mines & geology department S.K. Satpathy to resolve the issue of overlapping leasehold areas of two PSUs Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) and Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL).
Das met CMD of HCL K.D. Diwan and UCIL’s director (technical) S.K. Shrivastava and company secretary B.C. Gupta, at his Project Building office.
“UCIL’s Jaduguda mines area and HCL’s mining areas overlap with each other,” said Gupta.
Officials of UCIL, under the department of atomic energy, also apprised Das about its CSR projects in the region under which farmers were provided with agriculture equipment.
