Jamshedpur, April 18: CBI sleuths, who are in the steel city to investigate the death of Mousumi Choudhury, met the deceased’s mother Tapasi Choudhury today.

Led by CBI deputy inspector general, Nirja Gotu, the sleuths of the investigating agency spoke to Tapasi for one and a half hours at her Shiv Singh Bagan residence in the Sidhgora police station area.

“I told them everything I managed to find out while my daughter was in the critical care unit at Tata Main Hospital. I also mentioned how my daughter was murdered and who the culprits are,” she said.

The six-member team asked Tapasi about the compensation received from Airhostess Academy and the management of Hotel Sonnet, where Mousumi was undergoing training.

She added that the detectives might interrogate her again at home or summon her to the CBI’s camp office.

When asked, Tapasi said she had faith in the CBI, the Supreme Court as well as God. “I hope they give their best and bring justice to me and my daughter,” said the bereaved mother.

Earlier, the team had visited Hotel Sonnet for further investigations.

Notably, 18-year-old Mousumi was fatally injured while undergoing training at the laundry room of Hotel Sonnet in Bistupur on May 9 in 2009.

She succumbed to her injuries on May 13.
