Jamshedpur, March 20: Beauty was big business at the steel city this week.
Officials of Nature’s Essence, a herbal beauty product line, spoke to city beauticians regarding launching exclusive franchise saloons in three cities across the state, in a daylong workshop.
Nature’s Essence wishes to expand its market in the state after enjoying success in the rest of the eastern zone, which includes Orissa and Bengal.
“We have a good presence in states like Bengal and Orissa, but somehow our reach is not conspicuous in Jharkhand. Therefore, we have worked out strategies to make our operations more prolific in Jharkhand,” said Sunita Arora, the general manager of all-India marketing at Nature’s Essence.
Coming up next, are state-of-the-art franchise salons in Jamshedpur to be followed by one each in Ranchi and Dhanbad.
“We are looking forward to a major expansion in Jharkhand. Therefore our next project, in the pipeline, are the franchise salons, which would exclusively deal with our products and different beauty treatments,” Rajesh Ranjan, the regional sales manager of the company.
To be established before June this year, these salons would be much on the lines of Lakme and Loreal clinics situated in major metros.
