Jamshedpur, Dec. 26: Bhojpuri film enthusiasts have a reason to cheer about. They just need to log on to www.sifymovies.com for the update on the industry.

Infogate Exporters Private Limited, a software firm of Jamshedpur, has tied up with the portal giant Sify to launch a Bhojpuri section.

The latest news and gossips from the Bhojpuri film industry will be available to the visitors of the Sify movie homepage by just clicking on the icon.

Infogate Exporters launched the world’s first Bhojpuri portal, www.bhojpuria.com, in Bhojpuri language.

“This is a big leap not only for us, but also for the Bhojpuri film industry. Portals like Sify have realised the potential of the Bhojpuri film industry. It becomes clear from the fact that they have shown interest in coming out with a section on Bhojpuri films and music,” said Sudhir Kumar, the director of Infogate Exporters.

The tie-up with Sify is being viewed as a big achievement by the city firm.

“It only shows how popular the language and its movies have now become among residents. As the Sify website has a link to bhojpuria.com, the bhojpuria website would see a lot many visitors than before. This will prove to be good for us,” said Kumar.

According to the agreement signed between the two, Sify and Infogate Exporters have now entered into a content sharing partnership wherein every report or news about the regional film industry, which was only available on bhojpuria.com, would now be available at www.sifymovies.com as well.

In a week’s time the separate section on Bhojpuri films would be converted into a full-fledged link right beside those of Hollywood, Bollywood and other regional movies.

To make the matter simplified the portal has included a link to the city- based Bhojpuri portal in case the visitor wants any extra information.
