Ranchi, Dec 27: Astrologers warn that people should not be misguided by Vaastu experts. On the inaugural day of a three-day astrologers’ conference here, participating occult scientists said people should not spend money on the advice of Vaastu experts to make their home for suitable living.
Traditional houses are fit for living and people do not to need to change the settings to prosper, astrologers said. Chairman of the Maa Adya Jyotish Sansthan, New Delhi, maharshi Bharat Bhusan Bhardwaj said the ancient way of living was more scientific. “People were very close to nature in ancient India. Their habits were nature-friendly. If that lifestyle is followed now, it can bring prosperity,” he said.
A Kamakhya-based occult scientist, Raju Marwari, said Indian tradition must be followed as it taught people to respect women. “Prosperity can be expected only by respecting women. Respect for women is a must from childhood,” he said.
City-based palmist, N.K Bera, said it is important to highlight the traditional Indian astrological science for development. “Astrology is a perfect science. If it would be highlighted properly, the country can attain new heights in world,” he said.
Secretary of Ramkrishna Mission, Swami Sashankanand, on the occasion underlined the importance of astrology. “We can not see our future without popularising the system of prediction,” he said.
Former Vice Chancellor of Veer Kanwar Singh University, Arah, Suresh Singh, said respecting Indian tradition is a must to save it from American hegemony. “Americans have claimed copyright on many things that were commonly practised in India. If not given proper attention, America may obtain copy right of our tradition and later we may have to pay for following astrology,” he said.
Over 150 astrologists from the eastern region are participating in the conference.
