Ranchi, July 28: Governor M.O.H. Farook today transferred 32 senior police officers, and promoted three DIGs and two superintendents of police.
R.K. Mallik, DIG, Ranchi has been promoted as IG (operations). Palamau DIG Prashant Singh has been posted as IG (training). Manoj Mishra, DIG, Kolhan, has been made IG, Bokaro.
Jamshedpur SSP Naveen Kumar Singh has been promoted as DIG, Kolhan. Chaibasa SP Akhilesh Jha will replace him.
Lakshman Prasad Singh, commandant, Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) VII, has been appointed DIG Palamau.
B.B. Pradhan, IG (training) has been made IG (modernisation and provision), while Bokaro IG K.S. Meena is the new IG of JAP. IG (headquarters) Ram Lakhan Prasad will be IG, CID and Ajay Kumar Singh, IG (special branch) has been made the IG (rail) with charge of special branch.
Sampat Meena, DIG, JAP is the new DIG Ranchi. Sido Hembrom, DIG (rail) has been made DIG (home guard). DIG (CID) Shashinath Jha isDIG (vigilance), Sheetal Oraon, DIG, JAP VII, has been shifted to CID and Biglal Oraon, SP (home guard) is the new Ranchi traffic SP, replacing Kamlesh Kumar, who has been shifted to CID.
Arun Kumar, SP, Dumka has been shifted to Chaibasa, Ramgarh SP Hemant Toppo replaces Arun Kumar. Special branch SP Mrityunjay Kumar replaces Toppo in Ramgarh.
Sahebganj SP Sudhir Kumar Jha has been given additional charge of commandant JAP IX, while Hazaribagh SP Pankaj Kamboj has been given additional charge of Police Training Centre in Padma, Hazaribagh.
Ghatshila ASP Anup Belthare has been promoted as SP Simdega. Babban Singh, SP, SCRB has been made SP (home guard).
