Unns or Love Forever is just that, a love story that manages to give a paltry couple of hours the aura of infinity, it stretches on and on and on. And at the end of it all, the surprising revelation we all were astounded by was simply that a faithful boring husband is better than the faithless hunk? Tell us something new!
Sanjay Kapoor plays the saintly husband, so sweet it’s a wonder the wife does not get diabetes. However, that he managed to play it. Sudhanshu looks adequately sexy and thankfully keeps himself at that. If military law was applicable to Bollywood then Rituparna’s hairstylist and dress designer would have been shot by now for sheer incompetence. And Rituparna herself? She is lovely. In spite of the deliberate sabotage from her wardrobe assistants she manages to look ravishing. The beautiful girl with her pregnant silences and wonderfully expressive eyes. She displays the different shades with equal ease. But obviously all gone to waste in this saga of boredom. The pativrata stree motif does not become interesting with a simple gender reversal. The way the lightman squirmed (he was the only other person in the hall) in his seat when there was still an hour left for the movie to end, told a sad tale.
