New Delhi, Nov. 27: Former RJD MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav turned over a new leaf after 12 years in jail on murder charges, releasing his autobiography today and sparking speculation about a comeback.
Digvijaya Singh, Mulayam Singh Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan attended the release of Drohkaal Ka Pathik (traveller in the age of betrayal).
Digvijaya dubbed Pappu a “mass politician” but did not say if the ex-MP, whose wife Ranjeeta is a Bihar Congress MLA, could get a ticket. Mulayam asked him to revive his career. Pappu had been serving a life term over the 1998 murder of CPM leader Ajit Sarkar in Purnea before the high court acquitted him this May.
