AM Medical Centre welcomed a new era of health and healing with the launch of its new clinic on February 16 at Southern Avenue. Led by Dr Moon Chattoraj, the flagship healthcare centre will house specialised departments like dental, eye, IVF, general medicine, ENT, gastroenterology, paediatrics, gynaecology, diet and nutrition, pulmonology, dermatology, orthopaedics, endocrinology, urology, geriatric medicine and diagnostics. The dental studio is also equipped with its own laboratory where ancillaries are designed and engineered to perfection.

To mark the launch of the clinic, AM Medical Centre organised the Inaugural Panel Discussion, in association with The Telegraph on ‘a clinical approach to healthier living’. Dr Sebanti Goswami spoke on cosmetic gynaecology, Dr Moon Chattoraj based her discussion on dental care while Dr Roshni Mishra’s discourse outlined cutting-edge concepts in cosmetic dermatology. Past patients of the doctors, who were present on the occasion, participated in an interactive session and shared their treatment experiences. Glimpses.

Dr Sebanti Goswami spoke on cosmetic gynaecology as a “functional gynaecology” that takes care of the changes in a woman’s body through the various phases of her reproductive life through surgical and non-surgical procedures. “We rejuvenate women as far as their functional gynaecology is concerned. ‘Reclaim, restore and rejuvenate yourself’ is our motto,” she said.

She explained that a bad set of teeth could lead to indigestion and infection, which could result in more serious diseases like cardiac arrest. “Cosmetic dentistry is the need of the hour... beautiful teeth help you look and feel good and the feeling of wellness from it builds your confidence quotient,” she said.
