Over the years, Miracle on 34th Street has become the quintessential Christmas film, exploring the question of ‘Who is Santa?’. The film follows a legal case which requires a family to prove that an aptly named man, Kris Kringle, is actually the real-life Santa Claus. The film not only won the Academy Award for Best Original Story, but has also remained relevant over the years, keeping the mystery around the jolly gift-giver alive, and instilling a desire to be good within hundreds of children every year.
