MIX IT UP: Afraa Deli at City Centre Salt Lake welcomed the dip in Celsius with a cake-mixing ceremony, and the Colkatay Columbus team of (l-r) Ritabhari Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakrabarty,  Suchandra Vaaniya and Saurav Palodhi were there to join hands. “We mixed various nuts with juices, wine, rum and brandy to make 225kg of mixture. When Afraa Deli was opened, we used to use only 50kg of mixture. From 50kg to 225kg, we’ve come a long way. The cakes are baked in the base kitchen and then sent to the different Afraa outlets,” said Sumanta Chakrabarti, corporate chef, Ambuja Neotia Hospitality.
